- socialization in a controlled environment

What does Recreational Weight Pull look like?
Recreational pulling is a term just used to refer to weight pull not in a competitive setting. Recreational Pulling often takes the form of “Drag Work”.
What is Drag Work?
Drag work is exactly what it sounds like! It is when a dog drags weight in a harness. Drag work should always be done in a proper weight pull harness.
Common items used for drag work:
- Chain
- Window Weights
- Plate Weight
- Workout Sled
Think of Drag Work as a ‘low weight, high repetitions’ work out. Dragging a light weight on a walk is a great way to add a little resistance to an every day activity.
